Lumsden, Bruce

Bruce Lumsden relocated from Toronto to Waterloo in the mid 1960's to work at the University of Waterloo. His time there was characterised by creativity, high accomplishment and the appreciation of his peers.

Lumsden's interest in reading and writing poetry has grown steadily through his adult life, providing the genre for the recollections of his Toronto boyhood in Toronto, Toronto. In his second book, River-Places, Lumsden continues the style of accessible language and a strong narrative flavour.
